The Distance Education System, developed by our University’s Digital Transformation Coordination Office, was introduced to the academic staff of our Faculty through an online meeting. The system, which is currently used by approximately 800 students and hosts course materials for 16 different courses, has been made available to the Faculty of Science for the first time within the scope of a pilot implementation. Feedback obtained from our faculty members and students will contribute to further improvement efforts and facilitate the system’s expansion across the entire university.
During the meeting, Assistant Coordinator of Digital Transformation, Assist. Prof. Dr. Furkan Aydın, delivered a presentation on the system’s features and usage. In his presentation, Aydın emphasized the importance of testing the developed system through active use by our Faculty and stated that they feel great pride and satisfaction in developing a system aligned with market conditions and bringing it to our University through the Digital Transformation Coordination Office.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of our Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ömer KİŞİ, expressed his gratitude to Assist. Prof. Dr. Furkan AYDIN and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyfullah GÖKOĞLU for their contributions to the development process of the system. The meeting concluded with wishes for the system to be beneficial and successful for our University.
